Definition of: Content Mills
According to About.com, a "Content Mill" is defined as: "a slang term used by freelance writers and given to a company, website or organization designed to provide cheap website content, usually at a significant profit to themselves, and usually by paying very low rates to writers."
Is this an accurate definition? Sometimes. While there are "content mills" that pay upwards of $15 per an article (about 500 words), others pay just a few dollars.
